Welcome! Northern Michigan Electric is an Electrical Company owned and operated by Tony and Rita Balistreri of Alanson, MI. 

Tony has over 20 years of experience as an electrician in both Georgia and Michigan. While living in Georgia, Tony earned his title as a Master Electrician at just 26 years old. Now, Tony is not only a Master Electrician in the State of Michigan, but also an Electrical Contractor. Rita is the Chief Financial Officer of Northern Michigan Electric as well as being a Nurse Practitioner and a General Contractor. Tony and Rita have two daughters, Isabella and Sophia. Isabella is a nurse at a local hospital, and helps manage social media projects for the business.  She and her fiancee just bought a house in Cheboygan, where they live with their two dogs, Winnie and Daisy. Sophia is a sophomore in highschool and wants to be either an Aerospace Engineer, Biomedical Engineer or a Marine Biologist with a specialty in sharks. Sophia enjoys helping her dad on projects whenever she can and wants to be an Apprentice Electrician for the company as soon as she is old enough.
